Patients sometimes need assistance with their prescription drugs. Any changes to established routines can be intimidating and overwhelming. Yet, the failure to adequately follow-through can be costly and debilitating. It’s not only the consumer that is at risk, but their families, doctors and insurers. For example, prescription noncompliance may result in declining health conditions, unnecessary hospital admissions, preventable deaths and an estimated cost to society of $100 billion annually Studies going back 20 years have documented prescription non-compliance as a major impediment to consumer care.
ScriptAssist recognizes these underlying issues and has developed an effective pharmacy compliance program. ScriptAssist combats this problem through education, motivation and counseling services for those most at risk of not following prescribed treatment plans.

Best Practices
As a result of research-based practices, ScriptAssist can predict which patients will be at the highest risk for noncompliance. Once identified, ScriptAssist reaches out to those patients to promote adherence before it becomes an issue. ScriptAssist employs psychological interventions that address a patient’s individual risk factors and their ability to manage a treatment program.
One-on-One Case Management
Patients are enrolled into the ScriptAssist program via a network of targeted physicians and/or pharmacies. Experienced Registered Nurses contact patients through scheduled phone calls. Patients receive individually tailored programs and techniques designed to help them use their medications.
