Patient Privacy

At ScriptAssist patient privacy is important to us. We will do all we can to protect our patient’s health records. Our procedures are designed to keep our patient records confidential in accordance with state and Federal laws.

ScriptAssist has numerous security steps in place to ensure only those who need to see patient health records are allowed to see them. Physically, these records are protected within locked buildings and secured rooms. Electronically, they are protected with computer network security and passwords. Only those employees and others, such as physicians or pharmacies, who need to see health information in order to perform specified job tasks, are allowed access. All employees must sign a statement that they understand their responsibility to preserve confidentiality of health information. If any employee violates the company’s privacy practices, he or she is subject to disciplinary action.
